Seven Social Care is looking for a qualified Court Social Worker to fill an exclusive opportunity specialising in the wellbeing of children across Shropshire.

The role:

As Court Social Worker, you will be responsible for a small and complex caseload and working in a small and supportive team. The right candidate would need to have 2 years’ experience of Child Protection with specific experience within court. The rate is negotiable between £29.93 – £32.34 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working around Shropshire specifically in Shrewsbury
  • Completing Court Reports and Statements
  • Completing Section 17’s
  • Completing Section 47’s Social Work Assessments

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
  • Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
