Seven Social Care are looking for a number of Day Care Assistants to work in Cawston, Norfolk. These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and will be paying £11.50 per hour via an umbrella company.

The role:

To work day time hours as part of a team ensuring service users welfare, security and health and safety in the Step-Down Beds Unit. Working to compliance with CQC statutory and regulatory requirements, plus national and local policies.

Key Responsibilities:

      Support service user with providing personal care in line with service operational policy and processes. This may include moving and handling using hoists, safe disposal of waste, personal care or feeding assistance.

Adhere to infection control procedures and support medication by “Dossett” or Norfolk First Response medication policy. Monitor service user’s health, if required, maintaining full and accurate records.

Access medical services in an emergency, seek medical advice and collate all relevant information on the service user’s medical history and next of kin. Complete all records and incident forms.

Monitoring and recording any relevant information on service users using the appropriate process and systems to ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: N/A.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Current DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
