Deputy Home Manager – Children’s Residential Service

Location: Surbiton

Hours: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: Circa £28,000

Here at Seven we are currently working with a reputable provider of children’s services who are seeking an experienced candidate to take responsibility as a deputy home manager.

As a deputy manager you will support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the children’s home, who provide services to children with Learning Difficulties & Autism.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in the overall management of a residential service for children with learning difficulties or autism.

Coach, mentor and support a team of workers to help improve the quality of care for children

Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with Ofsted and ensuring that the home receives positive outcomes

Assisting in the Recruitment, training and retention of staff to ensure the sufficient running of the home

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 3 in Children & Young Persons Workforce or Equivalent Qualification
  • Must have experienced in working in a children’s residential service that specialises in a similar field of care
  • Supervising/Managerial Experience
  • Proven experience of budget management
