Seven Social Care are currently seeking to speak with experienced social care workers interested in the opportunity to relocate to the Channel Islands.

We are currently recruiting for a deputy manager of an adult’s disability service on the State of Guernsey. You will play an integral role in the development of the service for the future and will have a person centred approach to assisting people to live and thrive in their own homes

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate the assessment of service users with complex care needs including individuals with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions
  • Co-ordinate risk assessment processes to determine risks to the health and wellbeing of service users with complex care needs
  • Lead a team of staff, including in emergency and other acute situations to ensure service user needs are supported and met.
  • Act as a professional role model to junior staff

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Nurse or Qualified Social Worker
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development at Diploma Level
  • Level 3 Certificate in AVA or equivalent
