Seven Social Care are looking for a Temporary Deputy Team Manager within a Children in Need Team in the London Borough of Harrow.

The role:

To deputise for the Team Manager as and when necessary and to assist in the execution of all managerial functions relating to the smooth running of the social care teams in Targeted Support. To assist Team Managers in supervising and supporting Social Care staff, to provide a range of family support services for children in need, including those in need of protection, children looked after, those subject to public care proceedings and where directed by the court those subject to private care proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Team Manager in managing the Team budget.

2. To undertake professional supervision of a number of Social workers within the Team structure

3. To oversee complex assessments

4. To provide professionals supervision and develop practitioner skill and expertise

5. To assist the Team Manager in managing information and quality assuring work.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Compliance: Up to date SWE registration and Enhanced DBS

Experience: 2 Years PQE in Children’s Social Work

Hours : 35 Hours Per Week
