Emergency Care Response Officer

Seven are currently supporting a reputable charitable service provider covering the Coventry & Rugby area, and seeking to speak to individuals interested in becoming one of their emergency care response officers.

As an emergency response officer; you will be responsible for providing respite and relief cover for carers due to emergency situations, or in planned 72 hour respite services, ensuring that the person’s that the carer supports continue to receive the appropriate care in their absence.

Keys Roles:

  • To respond to unplanned emergency situations, such as where a carer falls ill
  • To respond to planned situations, such as where a carer takes time away from their duties such as ceremonies, weddings etc.
  • Conducting risk assessments on service users to make sure they are protected from harm and appropriate plans are in place for their care.
  • Participate in a 24hr on-call rota
  • Provide essential services to assist service users, such as assisting with meal preparation, helping with personal care and helping users to move around their own home.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in working within care response/coordinator roles (Desirable)
  • Experience in providing support/care work including personal care
  • Appropriate care certificates such as manual handling/health & safety

Perks & Features:

  • Permanent, Full-time Positions: 37Hrs per week
  • Rota will typically be a 3 on, 3 off pattern
  • £18,500 annual salary
