Seven Social care is looking for a General Practice Surveyor in the North East.

Start: 24 th August – for a period of 6-12 months.

Rate: £20.00 per hour.

The role:

Key Responsibilities:

To support the delivery of the overall property portfolio strategy and action plan across our Rented, Supported, Leasehold & Commercial tenures. Key role focuses can include the production of development service charges, corporate real estate lease negotiations, Landlord and Tenant enquiries, support the Operations Leasehold team in terms of service charge / sinking fund calculations, acquisitions, disposals and extensions under the LRA. You will also support our sales colleagues in our right to buy/acquire sales and guidance in accordance with statutory and legal requirements, RICS guidelines and internal procedures.

This initially be 6-12 months. There will be two main areas for the role to focus on, options appraisals and service charges setting/reconciliation. Experience of service charges would be a big plus, as would good knowledge of excel based service charge models.

Applicant Requirements:

Knowledge/ Experience:

  • A relevant degree, be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
  • Experience in residential property management or development and in delivering freehold and leasehold transactions.
  • Be confident in applying valuation skills to undertake asset investment options appraisals, forming investment plans and strategies.
  • Skilled negotiator and excellent at influencing colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills, including writing clear and concise reports, chairing meetings and presenting.
  • prioritise your workload to achieve the overall team targets within agreed timescales and monitor the performance of the portfolio
  • Commercial property experience.

You will need to be competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK.
