Seven Social Care is looking for a Homecare Worker to fill an exclusive opportunity specialising in the wellbeing of children and adults across Nottingham City.

The role:

  • Providing homecare to citizens who are either awaiting discharge from hospital or have been referred from the community. The workers provide a range of essential support relating to medication management, reablement to support a return to independence, assistance with personal care and mobility and other activities to support independent living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work specifically within the ‘Social Care Reablement’ team which receives all referrals for new homecare packages. Part of this team’s remit is to support safe discharge from hospital and reduce hospital admissions through intervention prior to crisis. Access to own vehicle is essential, as care is delivered in citizen’s own home.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: BTEC or NVQ
  • Experience: 2+ years Health Care Experience in the UK
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS within one year
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: AM Shifts (7-1 or 8-2) or PM Shifts (5-11)
  • Referencing: 5 years
