Seven Social Care are currently seeking to secure an Independent Chair to work with Milton Keynes Council on an initial 3 month contract.

The role of Independent Chair is a combined role which will include the responsibilities of a Child Protection Coordinator, Independent Reviewing Officer & LADO responsibilities. For the appropriately experience candidate a remuneration of up to £40ph is available paid via an Umbrella company.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as a CP coordinator & Independent Reviewing Officer on CP and LAC reviews.
  • Cover LADO Responsibilities where required
  • Carry out additional tasks as required by the Head of Service which may include Quality Assurance, Data and Performance, Service Development and Delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work
  • Experienced Social Worker with strong knowledge of Child Protection and LAC reviews
  • Previous experience of IRO/CP responsibilities
