Seven Social care is looking for Support worker in Bromley

Start: Asap – 2 nd October

Rate: £10.55 per hour

39 Hours

Rota 7 Days 9:00am to 21:00pm

Candidate must have medication training

The role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to the service users in line with the actions identified in the care/support plans.
  • Administer a range of medications within protocol and within current Hestia policy, and document this accurately. Order, store and record prescribed medication under the supervision of the Manager and in accordance with Hestia’s policies and procedures. Where appropriate, complete drug audits as per policy.
  • To motivate service users in all aspects of independent living.
  • To assist service users to attend educational, leisure and health related activities, accompanying them as appropriate.
  • To assist with implementation and review of support / care plans with the participation of service users and the senior support and review workers.
  • To liaise effectively with other agencies involved in the care/support of service users.

Applicant Requirements:

Knowledge/ Experience:

    Candidate must have medication training
  • Knowledge of mental health issues and CQC registered services .
  • Awareness of health and safety issues.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours within a rota system including weekends & evenings
  • Willingness to maximise independence by motivating and supporting service users towards their goals.
  • Willingness to travel and work across the borough of Bromley.
  • Promotes a service user oriented organisation by ensuring that all activity is aligned to identify service user needs.

Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK.
