Seven Social Care is looking for a qualified Personal Advisor to fill an exclusive opportunity working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children across Cambridgeshire.

The role:

As a Personal Advisor, you will assess the needs of eligible relevant and former relevant young people to determine the level of advice, assistance and support in their transition to independence to ensure that they are able to maximise their life chances. They will provide time limited advice, guidance and practical support to young people 16+ in need. A background knowledge of the LAC process would be helpful, alongside experience of working with Care Leavers and Asylum Seekers.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
  • Compliance: DBS (provided by Seven Social Care).
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37 hours per week.
