Project Manager (Health, Wellbeing and Children’s Services)

Endeavour House, Ipswich

Starting ASAP for 6 months, subject to the progress of the project

37 hours per week – this may reduce at the later stage of the project

This temporary project manager role will coordinate the development and delivery of a project that will involve establishing and monitoring a case by case multi-agency action plan for a number of individual pupil cases arising from an audit of incidents occurring at a school setting where there was potential for personal trauma to have occurred. The post holder will work with professionals to ensure that the appropriate mitigation and actions are put in place and delivered on a case by case basis. This will include liaison with families to ensure that parents/carers are appropriately briefed and involved in the preparation of action plans and are enabled to participate in their implementation.

The project manager will be based in the resolution team within Education and Learning and will be part of a team working to support a school in special measures. The team will be drawn from a range of service areas predominantly Education and Learning and Inclusion. The project manager will report to the Strategic Lead for Resolution.

The project manager will work collaboratively with colleagues within the wider Education and Learning, Health and Wellbeing and Children’s Services teams to oversee the delivery of a project to develop an action plan for each individual child involved to address the issues identified by the audit. The post holder will be expected to coordinate actions, arrange for appropriate key professionals to be allocated to individual cases according to identified need, and monitor progress on individual cases to ensure all actions are completed, quality assured and outcomes recorded.
