Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary QSW to work with the Adult Community Team in The Vale of Glamorgan. This position is initially for a period of 3 months and will be paying up to £30.00 per hour via an umbrella company.

The role:

To assess Adults to determine eligibility for the provision of services, promote user empowerment and independence.

To offer appropriate information advice and signposting to alternative services to meet identified needs.

Key Responsibilities:

      To undertake assessment of service users and their carers in accordance with statutory duties under relevant legislation.

To plan and commission services to meet identified needs and monitor and review care plans in conjunction with service users and carers

To negotiate and co-ordinate applications for resources and to work in partnership with internal and external partners both statutory and voluntary on behalf of service users and carers

To undertake case management responsibility for a specific caseload and prioritise workload demands appropriately.

To maintain up to date electronic and paper case files and relevant documents, providing accurate records relating to performance management and other statistical data as required.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree approved by Social Work England or Care Council for Wales.
  • Experience: 2+ years working with adults as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
  • Compliance: Up to date SWE/CCW registration and DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
