QSW – Adults MASH Team

Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary QSW to work with the Adults MASH Team in Knowsley. This position is initially for a period of 6 months and is paying £31.15 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role:

The post will require experience working within adult social care and demonstrate an ability to undertake Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments and safeguarding adult enquiries.

The social worker will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults at risk and their families/carers alongside implementing the Making Safeguarding Personal and strengths based approach to safeguarding adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include ability to identify concerns in relation to allegations of abuse or neglect, if the adult has care and support needs and as a result of these needs unable to safeguard themselves.
  • The post will require experience working within adult social care and demonstrate an ability to undertake Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments and safeguarding adult enquiries.
  • The social worker will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults at risk and their families/carers alongside implementing the Making Safeguarding Personal and strengths based approach to safeguarding adults.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree approved by Social Work England.
  • Experience: 2+ years working with adults as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
  • Compliance: Up to date SWE registration and DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
