Seven Social Care are looking for a number of temporary Reablement Support Workers to work with Shropshire Council. These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and will be paying £11.90 per hour via an umbrella company.
The post holder is responsible to the START Organiser and the Registered Manager who in turn are responsible for the post holder’s health and safety, training and development. The post holder will report on a day to day basis to the START Organiser.
The post holder will ensure the provision of a personalised, innovative, best value, high quality, inspiring and socially inclusive service.
The main purpose of this position is to provide personal care and support to all Shropshire Council residents aged 18 and over who have been assessed as requiring short term support to help them regain the level of independence they had before they became unwell or to achieve their personal new level of independence.
- Responsible to the START Organiser who is in turn responsible for the post holder’s health and safety, training and development.
Be accountable by making sure you can answer for your actions or omissions.
Promote and uphold the privacy, dignity, rights, health and well-being of people who always use care and support services.
Work in collaboration with your colleagues to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate care and support.
Communicate in an open, and effective way to promote the health, safety and well-being of people who use care and support services.
- Qualifications: Moving and Handling trained.
- Experience: 2+ years working either as a Care Assistant or Support Worker.
- Compliance: Current DBS check.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: Part-time or full-time candidates will be considered.
