Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Safeguarding Children Partnership Business Manager to work in Durham. This role is initially for a period of 6 months and the hourly rate is £21.60.

The role:

As Durham Safeguarding Children Partnership Business Manager you will be accountable to the Strategic Manager for Partnerships. The purpose of the role is to lead the development and co-ordination of the functions and quality assurance of the Durham Safeguarding Children Partnership Business Unit. The postholder will lead the development and monitor the implementation of the local safeguarding children strategy and action plan as well as ensure the effective performance management of partner agencies to deliver the agreed objectives of the DSCP.

Key Responsibilities:

        To ensure processes are in place to communicate the sharing of good practice and lessons learned from Child Safeguarding practice reviews to multi-agency forums.

To represent DSCP and Children’s services interests at regional and national levels and to share information, skills, experience and knowledge through regional and national networks.

To promote ways of working which ensures that agency boundaries are not an obstacle for achieving quality outcomes.

To support the delivery of agreed outcomes across partner agencies and have systems in place that enable effective reporting to the Partnership.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Management qualification to NVQ level 5 or equivalent within Health and Social Care.
  • Experience: 2+ years working in a similar role in the UK.
  • Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
