Seven Social Care are looking for 2 QSW’s to work with the Assessment Team in March, Cambridgeshire. These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and are paying £28.00 – £32.00 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).
Within the framework of legislation, agreed council policies and procedures to work with or on behalf of children, young people and their families, to improve their well-being, and promote their independence.
Assess the needs of children and young people who require social work services including the identification of risk and the need for protection. To develop, coordinate and deliver multi-agency plans to meet assessed needs and to review these plans to ensure they continue to meet assessed needs.
Identify unmet needs and gaps in service provision to inform resource allocation and service development.
Engage other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies in the delivery of services agreed following the assessment of need.
Manage an allocated workload within a team setting.
Comply with the statutory obligations and departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up to date records on the Integrated Children’s System (ICS) at all times.
Qualifications: Degree approved by Social Work England.
Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
Compliance: Up to date SWE registration and DBS.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37 hours p/w.
