Seven are seeking to speak with strong and experienced social worker’s ready to tackle new tasks within a children’s frontline social work team. We are seeking to speak to social worker’s with over three years’ experience in children’s services to join an establish team in London.

As a Senior Social Worker you will provide guidance and support to more junior members of staff whilst supporting management and the social service system by using your experience to handle more complex caseloads.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You’ll be taking on challenging and rewarding work, assisted by high quality supervision from experienced managers who are committed to making the improvements required to ensure that children and their families receive a good service.
  • Carry out assessments, following concerns raised about a child’s potential welfare. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments to ensure children are protection, liaising appropriately where required to ensure the children’s basic needs are met.
  • Provide support and guidance to parents of children
  • Provide supervision and support to Junior Social Workers

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualifications: Professional social work qualification, CQSW or Diploma in Social Work (Dip SW ).
  • Experience working in a frontline children’s team
  • Registered with the HCPC.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 36 hours p/w.
