Senior Support Worker
Newcastle Upon Tyne
Circa £21,000 + Additional Allowances

As a Senior Support Worker you will be responsible for supervising other support workers and providing a caring, therapeutic environment for children who will have experienced significant early trauma in their lives and have complex behavioural needs.
About the role:
Work alongside senior management to support the running of the home, managing the home in the absence of a deputy home manager
Responsible for the day-to-day care of the residents
Ensuring shifts are planned effectively and resources allocated appropriately within the home in the absence of a home manager or deputy manager
Diploma Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce or NVQ Equivalent
Minimum 24 months experience working with young people in a residential setting
Supervisory/Managerial Experience would be advantageous
Salary: Circa £21,000 / Year + Sleep-in Enhancements
