Seven Social Care currently have a vacancy for a children’s social worker within a children’s safeguarding team based in Cambridge.
As a qualified social worker you will look after a caseload of child protection cases which may involve some longer term cases and undertaking court work. The contract assignment is for 13 weeks however there is a possibility of extension. The pay rate for this opportunity would be £33ph.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle a caseload of child protection cases
- Conduct assessments to ensure that children are protected and safeguarded from harm
- Attending and presenting evidence in courts
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work
- Registered Social Worker with HCPC
- Previous experience of children’s social work
- Previous experience of handling a caseload of child protection/CIN cases
- Full Driving Licence
