Seven Social Care are seeking to secure an experienced social worker to support a children in need team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

The post holder will be a strong practitioner with experience of working with complex caseloads involving children in need. The position is initially on a 3 month basis however there is potential scope for the postholders contract to be extended. In return the postholder will received a remuneration of £32ph.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle Children in Need caseloads
  • Working with children aged 0 – 18
  • Child Protection cases
  • Assessment work
  • Manage complex caseloads

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work
  • Registered Social Worker with HCPC
  • Previous Experience in Children’s Frontline Work (Safeguarding, Child in Need, LAC)
  • Full Driving Licence
