Seven Social Care are seeking to secure a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join a Leaving Care Team with Suffolk County Council on a fixed term contract until July 2020.
This role has become available to provide support to cover maternity leave and in return the successful candidate will receive remuneration of £28ph. The role will be based at the Suffolk County Council offices in Ipswich.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Hold a caseload of primarily 16 and 17 year-old care leavers, providing 1-1 support.
- Understanding and working through the challenges that affect care leavers as they move towards independence
- Working with external agencies and partnerships to support complex cases
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Social Work
- Registered with HCPC
- 2+ Years’ experience in children’s service – preferably working with Care Leavers
- Full Driving Licence
