Seven Social Care are looking for 2 temporary Support Workers to work with the Bromley Mental Health Floating Support Service. These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and are paying £12.17 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company). Work Pattern is 39 Hours. Rota is over 7 Days and shifts run from 9:00am to 21:00pm.

The role:

To provide high quality care and support to service users bringing the care/support plans to life and carrying out the actions agreed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to the service users in line with the actions identified in the care/support plans.
  • Administer a range of medications within protocol and within current Hestia policy, and document this accurately. Order, store and record prescribed medication under the supervision of the Manager and in accordance with Hestia’s policies and procedures. Where appropriate, complete drug audits as per policy.
  • To motivate service users in all aspects of independent living.
  • To assist service users to attend educational, leisure and health related activities, accompanying them as appropriate.
  • To assist with implementation and review of support / care plans with the participation of service users and the senior support and review workers.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Medication Training is a must.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Current DBS.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 39 hours p/w.
