Seven Social Care are looking for a number of temporary Support Worker’s who would be interested in working with Sunderland City Council’s Care and Support Service. This role is initially available for a period of 3 months and will be paying an hourly rate of £10.50 via an umbrella company.

The Role:

Sunderland Care and Support is looking for Support Workers to join our Community Teams supporting vulnerable people across the City of Sunderland.

The Reablement at Home Service and Planned Care Team visit customers in their own homes and provide person centred care and support that can include the provision of personal care, supporting to reach goals for independence and social support in the community.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • NVQ in Health and Social Care.

Experience:

  • 2+ years working in a similar role.
  • A positive caring outlook
  • Have excellent written and communication skills
  • The ability to work shifts (including evenings weekends and bank holidays)

Compliance:

  • Recent DBS check.

Travel:

  • Clean UK driving license and access to a car is essential

Hours:

  • 32 hours per week – 7am – 3.30pm, 1.30pm – 10pm and alternate weekend working
