Seven Social Care is looking for a Temporary Support Worker to work with one of our services in the Southall, London area.
The pay rate is £12.78 p/h (which will be paid to you via an umbrella company.)

Start Date – ASAP.

The role:

These are services that support adults with complex needs – which include MH and physical health. Experience supporting adults with complex needs, promoting independence, empowering and doing medication checks. Knowledge of adult safeguarding is necessary for this role, evidence to be provided of having adult safeguarding training within the last year as well as experience of using inform to record and report incidents and safeguarding. Excellent IT and written skills, taking part in professionals meetings , writing reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver housing related support to adults with a range of needs, to understand their strengths and build on these to help clients meet their aspirations in a range of areas of interest and value to the individual.
  • Improve each client’s quality of life; prevent homelessness through promoting or maintaining independent living skills and appropriate move on.
  • Provide relevant support in accordance to the client’s range of needs via support and safety planning and aspirations assessments and through one-to one keywork sessions.
  • Assist service users to attend educational, leisure and health related activities, accompanying as appropriate.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: N/A
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Proof of right to work and DBS dated within the last 12 months (or registered on the online update service.)
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 35 hours p/w.
