Seven Social Care is looking for a Support Worker to work with Devon County Council in a Step Down Bed Rehab Facility. You will be paid £10.50 p/h

The role:

To provide good quality support to service users with a range of needs in line with rehabilitation after discharge from hospital led actions identified in their support plans, and with organisational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unit is being repurposed into a step-down bed facility to support rehab during pandemic.
  • Vacancies and extra support hours to fill with potential to last up to March 2021, Patient facing.
  • They are all support worker hours and the 10pm to 7am shifts are waking nights.
  • Duties will include moving and handling people, personal care, cleaning, food preparation, medication administration (2 staff always).
  • Service users are adults who are medically fit for discharge who have tested negative for COVID-19 before discharge. Full PPE is available and it is expected that staff will follow government guidance – full information will be given. As a preference we would prefer the same worker/workers to come to Treetops and if possible (as our own staff are not crossing units) would like the staff who are working with us to only be working with us.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: N/A
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Proof of right to work and DBS dated within the last 12 months (or registered on the online update service.)
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: Full Time Hours.
