Seven Social Care are looking for a number of temporary Support Worker’s who would be interested in working with Sunderland City Council’s Care and Support Service. This role is initially available for a period of 3 months and will be paying an hourly rate of £10.50 via an umbrella company.

The role:

As a Support Worker within Farmborough Court Intermediate Care centre, you will help customers receive the best quality care and support they deserve. Do you have a genuine interest in assisting people over the age of 18 who require rehabilitation, reablement, convalescence and ongoing assessments following a physical illness or trauma, you will help determine the best outcomes for customers.

You will be involved in ensuring the customer are included in all aspects of their lives and decisions, every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that is varied and rewarding. You will work very closely with health professionals to support people to progress and enable them to reach their potential.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience: 2+ years working in a similar role.
  • Compliance: Recent DBS check.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week – 7am until 10pm on a rota basis, to include weekends and bank holidays.
