Seven Social care is looking for a Team Leader – Out of Hours mental health crisis service

Start: Asap – For a number of weeks

Rate: £19.46 paid via umbrella company

The role:

We are looking for full-time temporary Team Manager cover to work at the out of hours mental health crisis service.

We are looking for the same candidate to work flexibly across weekdays and weekends, as needed, and to work across both Coves (i.e. 3 days per week at Kesington,Chelsea and Westminster, and 2 days per week at Hillingdon Cove), reporting to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing services for and people with mental health and complex needs.
  • Demonstrable experience of recruitment, induction, supervision, motivation, appraisal, training, discipline and grievance issues.
  • Performance monitoring and delivering consistently high service user standards.
  • Understanding of Mental Health Crisis Management and the delivery of services to meet their needs and aspirations including working with peer support workers.
  • Excellent knowledge of Community Care, Mental health, Health and Safety and welfare benefits legislation (including welfare reform).
  • Working in partnership with statutory mental health services Knowledge of methods of assessing, formulating, implementing, recording, reviewing and monitoring service user support and assessment plans.
  • Positively promote the organisation at external events, including delivering presentations and creating marketing material.

Enhanced DBS Needed

Knowledge/ Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Community Care, Mental health, Health and Safety and welfare benefits legislation (including welfare reform).
  • Experience of team leader position before
  • Experience of promoting and developing service user involvement/co – production.
  • Ability to manage staff
  • Experience of working within a multi-agency setting.
  • Awareness of risks associated with domestic violence in a working environment.
  • Knowledge of legal, statutory, regulatory and good practice requirements applicable to the provision of supported housing.
  • Working knowledge of the relevant housing law and welfare benefits that apply to women and children using the service.

Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK.
