Seven Social Care are seeking to secure the services of an experienced Social Worker with the appropriate managerial experience for role of Team Manager within a Leaving Care Team.

As Team Manager you will be working within a diverse team of staff to provide support and guidance to young people at the age where they are leaving the care system and supporting them to living independently. Initially the role is available on an interim basis for a period of 3 months. Successful candidates would expect an hourly rate on offer of up to £38ph.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of staff to support Care Leavers
  • Recruit, Train, Develop and Monitor the performance of staff through direct supervision, training and guidance
  • Acting as an expert to provide guidance and support with social workers handling complex or challenging caseloads.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work
  • Experience working with young people in the leaving care process
  • Managerial experience with strong leadership skills
  • Full Driving Licence
